Teri Wade, managing director at Pro-Media Communications, has more than 20 years of strategic communications and management experience at nonprofit and public sector organizations. Before joining Pro-Media, Teri was vice president for communications at the Foundation Center, a national nonprofit organization, where she directed communications initiatives and media outreach efforts that built awareness about the center’s service to the philanthropic sector.
Previously, Teri worked at Baruch College/CUNY for nearly 12 years in various positions. As the director of marketing, she conceived and implemented marketing and communications strategies targeted to current and prospective students and other stakeholders of the college. She has found it greatly rewarding to work on programs and initiatives that advance knowledge and educational opportunity.
Teri began her career as an editor and writer at the Museum of Television & Radio (now the Paley Center for Media) and has been an independent communications consultant for a variety of nonprofit and service organizations in the New York area. A strong believer in providing support for the arts, she currently volunteers with the Arts & Business Council of New York. She has a master’s degree in corporate communication from Baruch College and an undergraduate degree in media studies from Fordham University.
